JLo and Ben got married at the Georgia Estate, estimated at $8.9 million, in July. She was joined by their five children – Jennifer’s twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Ben Violet’s three children, Seraphina and Samuel from his wedding to Jennifer Garner – all of whom wore custom white Ralph Lauren outfits.

The Marry Me actress chose the same designer for her couture gown, which featured flutter sleeves, a chic open back and a ruffled mermaid skirt and train made from over 1,000 handkerchiefs. While the latter certainly made her entrance memorable, Jennifer recently revealed to fans that she had to concentrate not to trip over her trendy skirtwhich would have potentially ruined her special family time with their children.

In her On the JLo newsletter, the singer also opened up about the surprise Marc Cohn performance she arranged for Ben, and the couple’s thoughts as they prepare to wed 20 years after their first engagement.

“Ben later told me that the chords of the song and the sight of Marc Cohn both shocked him and made him feel that the two roads we had traveled inevitably, inexorably and perfectly came together. And when he saw me appear at the top of the stairs, at that moment, it made absolute sense while still seeming incredibly hard to believe, like the best dream, where all you want is never wake you up,” she wrote.

“I probably would have had many of the same thoughts if I hadn’t been concentrating so hard not to trip over my dress, but when I got close enough to see her face, it had the same wonderful meaning to me. Some old wounds were healed that day and the weight of the past finally lifted off our shoulders. Full circle – and not at all the way we expected. Better.”
