A former Clarksville police officer has been arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. In March, a minor reported to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office that Clarksville Police Officer Mike Tobin showed him sexually explicit images and videos. These images and videos were evidence in an ongoing criminal case. Those images included nude images of minors, according to state law enforcement. Tobin was relieved of his duties as an officer on March 5. On Thursday, Tobin was charged with two counts of child sexual abuse, a Class C felony; one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, a Class D felony; and eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, an aggravated misdemeanor.
